Casali
Cortevecchia’s peasant families used to live in these ‘casali’ which were once called ‘poderi’ The term ‘podere’ included the farmer’s dwelling, the land he tilled, the livestock, which was kept on the ground-floor of the building, the chicken-run, the sheep-pen and the pigsty.
We have refurbished these buildings according to their old architectural style.
They are perfectly equipped for guests who wish to spend a totally independent holiday while making the most of all the facilities offered by Cortevecchia. Every ‘casale’ is made up of two to three/four apartments, and each apartment has a living room with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchenette, as well as one or more bathrooms and bedrooms.
